Thesco Retirement Planning Services, LLC (TRPS) works along with Thesco Benefits, LLC and other benefit firms to provide retirement planning services to all size corporations.

Thesco Retirement Planning Services, LLC represents and works for you, the client. TRPS will research the current retirement plan market to help you find the best fit for your company and negotiate with the current vendor to ensure the best service at a competitive price. On an ongoing basis, TRPS will help you evaluate the plan so that you can establish goals and objectives for the plan, as well as conduct investment/compliance reviews, as well as enrollment and education meetings.

OUR GOAL

TRPS strives to keep clients up-to- date with regulation changes, and works with them to ensure compliance with IRS and DOL regulations. We use our knowledge of the retirement plan market to ease the client's burden of searching for a vendor and ongoing administration.

OUR CREDENTIALS

John Cunningham, President

John Cunningham's career began at Shearson Lehman Brothers as a retirement planning consultant. His position required him to help the brokers and their clients establish and evaluate their current 401(k)s and/or other qualified plans. After several years, he became a financial consultant for Smith Barney Shearson. John furthered his knowledge and experience by joining Tribus Financial Group, Inc. (now known as First Union Insurance Services Agency, Inc.) to help establish a retirement planning services department. John joined Thesco Benefits, LLC and established Thesco Retirement Planning Services, LLC in February 2001 to build a benefit firm that will provide service to all types of retirement plans.

Kathleen Monahan, Senior Account Executive 

Kathleen Monahan is the Senior Account Executive at RPS, which requires her to maintain relationships with RPS clients as well as overseeing other Account Executives and the Third Party Administrator at RPS.  Ms. Monahan works with plan sponsors, participants, and vendors to ensure the best service is available to our clients and the clients are kept up to date on the market and IRS & DOL regulations.  Ms. Monahan has over 15 years of experience in the retirement and benefit field and joins RPS after spending 9 1/2 years with Tribus Financial Group, Inc.  Ms. Monahan obtained her B.S. in Business/Finance from Wilkes University.

Tasha Garcia, Account Executive

Tasha Garcia enjoys a diverse role with RPS.  Aside from maintaining client relationships through a proactive approach to customer service, he is also responsible for marketing plans for current clients and prospects.  From the point of sale, Tasha oversees the conversion process from start to finish and aims to make the process an easy one for the client.  Ms. Garcia also keeps plan sponsors and participants informed of market updates and regulatory updates and regulatory changes by conducting plan reviews and enrollment/education meetings. 

Teresa Jorge, Pension Actuarial Specialist

Teresa Jorge is a Pension Actuarial Specialist at RPS where her duties include but are not limited to: performing the 401(k) Non-Discrimination Test, preparing the Form 5500 filing, and Year-End Valuations.  Teresa handles the processing of all distributions, loans, and financial hardships in our office.  She also has an extensive knowledge in many IRS Compliance issues.    

Katherine Duritsch, Account Executive
